Michigan Animal Reports
Last week your child should have finished the Physical/Adaptive Characteristics and Adaptation slides for our Michigan Animal Research Project.  There were many students still working to finish this up on Friday and were to finish them this weekend. This week we will be working to finish the projects by completing the Table of Contents and Citations slides. ALL PROJECTS ARE DUE ON THURSDAY!  Please ask your child what they have learned about their animal’s characteristics and have them show you what they’ve been working on at school!

Michigan Animal Reports
Last week your child should have finished the Introduction, Young and Habitat slides for our
Michigan Animal Research Project.  This week we will be working on finishing the Physical
Characteristics and Adaptations slides with information we’ve gathered. Research and/or
typing could be done at home and be included as a “My Choice” activity throughout this month.
Please ask your child what they discovered about their animal’s young and habitat.
Final projects will be finished by March 28th.

Reading Month/Reading Counts
March is Reading Month activities have moved into Week 3! The theme is “One World,
Many Stories.”  Please continue to encourage your child to READ, READ, READ
and meet their weekly goal of 3 Reading Counts points!   Mrs. Ettinger’s class
continues to be slightly ahead of ours in points, so we really want to catch them this week!

Michigan Animal Reports
Last week your child should have finished the Title and Food slides for our Michigan Animal Research Project.  This week we will be working on writing paragraphs with information gathered for the Introduction and Young slide.  Students will also find a photo of their animal’s habitat for the Habitat slide. Research and/or typing could be done at home and be included as a “My Choice” activity throughout this month.  Please ask your child what they discovered about what their animal eats.

Michigan Animal Reports
This week we will begin gathering information for our Michigan Animal Research Project.  This project starts this week and will continue until March 28th when the project should be completed and turned in.  The final report will contain 7 slides. Directions will be explained in class.  Research and/or typing could be done at home and be included as a “My Choice” activity throughout this month.  Please ask your child what animal they will be researching.
